A few numbers from that election stand out.
The tightest finish was in Mewla Maharajpur, Haryana, decided by a margin of just 161 votes — how far ahead the winner finished, in votes, over whoever came second.
The widest winning margin came in Adampur, Haryana, where the winner finished 50.9% of the vote ahead of the runner-up.
Chhachhrauli, Haryana saw the highest turnout — the share of registered voters who actually cast a ballot — at 86.3%.
The most crowded ballot was in Hissar, Haryana, where 28 candidates stood for the seat.
